Inspired by dark stormy skies with moments of sunlight bursting through the clouds. Dark moody tones of blue are balanced with calming taupe / light browns with accents of sienna. 
 
This piece of art was created with multiple layers of oil paint and with the use of my favourite tool, the palette knife, giving the surface a rich, layered texture you can see and feel and get lost in.
