Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted providing the item is returned undamaged in its original condition with the exception of commission pieces*
Terms:
- Contact me within 14 days of delivery
- Return items back within 30 days of delivery
- Buyers are responsible for return postage costs.
- Once the items has been returned and received by Jaimie Volkaerts Art and providing the above terms are met then a refund will be made to the original payment method.
If you wish to change or cancel your order please get in touch as soon as possible. Providing the artwork has not been shipped we can change or cancel the order free of charge.
*Due to the bespoke nature of commissions I am unable to accept returns unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Shipping Information
Delivery timings: Please allow up to 3 working days for preparation of your order before shipment. Tracking information and shipping notification will be sent to you once your order has been dispatched. Orders sent within the U.K. usually arrive within 5 days from the date of posting. For international orders, please allow approximately 1-3 weeks for your original artwork to arrive.
U.K. Delivery
Free shipping within the U.K. on wrapped canvases.
Prints, works on paper and framed paintings will incur a delivery charge which will be calculated at checkout. For Ireland and Channel Islands see International postage.
Large original stretched paintings and framed pieces are packaged carefully in a cardboard box with protective packaging and sent to you ready to hang on your wall.
The artwork on paper and canvas paper are carefully rolled, wrapped in tissue paper and mailed in a sturdy mailing tube, unless they are advertised with a mount and then they will be sent in a flat cardboard package.
International Shipping:
If you are outside of mainland U.K. and order a stretched canvas original or a stretched canvas print then your painting will be taken off its stretcher bars, carefully rolled, and placed in a sturdy mailing tube for transit. This ensures your painting arrives with you safely as large parcels are more at risk of damage and it also ensures that you are not charged for the cost of postage which can be very expensive for large overseas parcels. Providing free shipping will more than cover the cost of getting it re-stretched by your local framer.
Framed pieces, prints and works on paper will incur a delivery charge.
Please note that international customs taxes and duties incurred are the buyers sole responsibility.
